Estremoz is the “white city” of the Alentejo. It is possible to recognize it in the distance by its white houses, spread over a hill, embraced by old walls and protected by the imposing Tower. House of many kings and queens of Portugal, in particular of King Dinis and Queen Santa Isabel, Estremoz is presented to us as a site of a very rich heritage.
Near Estremoz we find one of the most precious and charming jewels of the Alentejo: Vila Viçosa, a village museum also known as the “Princess of the Alentejo”.
One of the main moments of the day will be served at the table, where you will taste the best of the traditional and renowned Alentejo gastronomy.
