Minho

Minho is a region of ancestral traditions and customs, set between the green of its natural landscapes and the blue of the Atlantic Ocean. In it the profane and the religious mingle, giving color to a distinct culture, full of life, joy, music and color. The region of Minho is also known as the Garden of Portugal, due to its valleys, hills, mountains and rivers that set it apart.

Minho was carefully shaped over the centuries by the hand of men who knew how to follow modernity always with respect for nature, but also for their own traditions. Their artistic expressions, many of them religious in nature, go back to ancient times, witnessing the presence of ancestral people who left their mark on the History of Portugal, which in the Minho, had its cradle.
Minho local inhabitants form, by nature, welcoming communities, conveying contagious sympathy and well-being. The small villages, towns and cities, with a life and personality of its own, boasting a unique gastronomy, festivities and crafts, open their doors and invite a visit.
